WHO AM I?
A flamingo; an undeniably unique creature who brings colour to her surroundings. A flamingo is completely different from a human person however, there are many characteristics of a flamingo that I recognize in myself. Allow me to share a small story of these similarities to give you insight into who I am as a person.
Just like a flamingo, I try to find my balance in life: finding equilibrium in my work, health, passions, friends and family. Even though life can pose obstacles (which may cause it feels like I have to balance on one foot), I still manage to mentally get both feet grounded and find my foundation by paying close attention to myself, others and my surroundings. Similar to a flamingo, I work effectively alone however, I thrive best in the surrounding of others as I get energy from personal interaction and ensuring everyone feels heard and included. Moreover, I get enthusiastic about diversity and changes and enjoy exploring the world; with open wings, I fly away and welcome new challenges and unknown experiences. Even though this may be frightening at times, I know that if I stay close to who I am as a person, I will always find my footing again. Moreover, having explored different parts of this beautiful world has not only given me insights, it has also driven me to positively and meaningfully contribute to it in my own way. Furthermore, whenever a flamingo stands in the lake, they look down and see themselves reverberate in the water. I also see this mirrored image of myself by means of weekly personal reflection. This reflection does not only reminds me to be grateful for my life, it also draws the foundation for my development points. Because, besides its social characteristics, a flamingo is also known for its tenderness. I recognize and value this tenderness but am also aware of the challenges it brings along. I am ready to embark on a journey where I can grow personally and professionally and become the best version of myself while maintaining who I am: an ambitious and unique individual that aims to make an impact by spreading colour wherever she goes.

JUNIOR PROJECTMANAGER ATPI SCHIPHOL-RIJK
Project management at ATPI for European sports events such as the Women EURO. As a freelancer, I assisted ATPI as a junior project manager for different clients and events across Europe. This involved consultancy, travel planning, relationship management, and creating tailor-made hospitality packages and proposals.

EVENTCOÖRDINATOR MASTERS COMMITTEE LUNDAEKONOMERNA SWEDEN
Next to my MSc in Sweden, I have been an active member of LundaEkonomerna Student Union at Lund University, School of Economics and Management. LundaEkonomerna exists to represent the interests of the students at LUSEM and its 3500 members. Within LundaEkonomerna, I worked as the Event Coordinator of the Masters' Committee 2021/2022. As part of the Master Committee, we worked as a team of seven individuals to organise various events like After Schools, different Sittningar and our main event: the Graduation Gala. The COVID-19 pandemic restricted our international master’s students from attending events and limited the types of events and the capacities of events we envisioned. Despite this challenging year, I showed creativity, tenacity, and dedication in ensuring that all our students were able to experience the Swedish culture in a social matter as much as possible.

SALES AGENT & GREEN HEARTS TEAM MEMBER NEWMOTION AMSTERDAM
As a sales agent at NewMotion, I worked with a diverse team towards a more C02-neutral future by accelerating e-mobility in the Netherlands. Collaborating with the many different departments within NewMotion, and working on multiple leads at the same time, has taught me to use my time as effectively and efficiently as possible. Moreover, during my employment, I was part of the Green Hearts initiative. The Green Hearts Team consist of a small team of volunteers within the organisation that focuses on sustainability and the fight against climate change. We organised activities throughout the year, promoted volunteering programmes and shared newsletters about sustainability.

CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT INTERN UNILEVER BENELUX ROTTERDAM
During my internship, I worked as a savoury sales agent where I managed all savoury branded promotions of the Albert Heijn retail market in The Netherlands and Belgium. Moreover, I was given the task to sustain healthy communication between Albert Heijn and our department by delivering, forecasting and analyzing all elements influencing the creation of marketing- and sales promotion.

FRONT DESK AGENT FAIRMONT DUBAI
During this internship of six months, I gave my utmost to create a memorable experience for the guests. The main tasks were to check-in and check-out guests with the PMS system Opera and to assist the guests with any inquiries. This internship taught me how to deal with international guests and to work in a cultural team. Moreover, it taught me to put all theory I have learned of my first year of Hotelschool in practise.

During this part-time job at an employments agency in Amsterdam, I was working as a hostess at multiple events, weddings, restaurants and five star hotels. This job taught me to how provide unforgettable experiences in all different kind of settings while working with differents colleagues every day.

As a part-time Crew Trainer it was my responsibility to train, coach and motivate all crew members. I appreciate my working experience with McDonald's as I learned how to work with standard operating procedures and to ensure the same quality and quantity for all consumers. Besides, it taught me how to train, coach, evaluate and provide constructive feedback to individuals and to lead a team as of young age.

I enjoy learning by means of diversity. This may be a diversity of tasks, functions, companies or locations. I get enthusiastic about new experiences and would like to work for an organisation that offers the right environment for me to challenge myself continuously. Moreover, besides the different roles, I also prefer to be around a diversity of (international) people and to learn from each other’s experiences, culture and knowledge.
REFLECTION
In my opinion, comprehensive reflection, setting goals and endlessly questioning yourself is the basis for continuous development and learning from experiences. Hence, I wish to work for a company that centralizes reflection in their daily operations and that assists me in working towards a future that is aligned with my personal and professional ambitions.
MOTIVATIONAL WORK ENVIRONMENT
For continuous development on both personal and professional levels, I need a strong foundation. I believe that this strong foundation comes from working in a company with like-minded people namely: to be around other ambitious, open-minded young professionals and to share a common vision. Moreover, a motivational company culture where everyone can be his or her own unique self and is motivated to learn from mistakes also contributes to this foundation.
